Pinay Travelista: ABOUT

Hi! I'm Lisa Marie!

What started as a medium to share anything about travel and the sorts became an adventure, and travel guide for a lifestyle to lure anyone interested. I started dabbling of those this-and-that at CoFFee SToRieS To TeLL, and somehow found it's way to Pinay Travelista trying to capsulize travel experiences + personal stories in one boat. This is that memory capsule that started on a June of 2011 for me. Apart from travel, travel - related information, and penning down thoughts, inputs on environmental awareness, sustainable tourism, and responsible travel is encouraged in those posts.

I, honestly, do not take myself too seriously but does with work. Apart from commissioned writings, and other projects I manage, I currently build school mobile applications for Active School Apps. Education, and communication during today's technological advancement is just awesome. With this set up, I've learned that working online, and travel lusting is a bad combination people try to glamorize. It's anchovies, dipped in chocolates! So. Don't. Fall. In. That. Trap. Freelance, online workers, location independence --- it is not for everyone. One has to badly want it enough. Good thing I am blessed to have a super cool boss that I always remind myself to behave or else I'm goners!

Q: Do you travel?

Me: Yes, I do.
Q: Are you a tourist?
Me: Ofcourse, aren't we all?
Q: But others say it is different?
Me: Who cares what they say?! Them should know the grey lines in between is not always partition, sometimes it's just an area of absolute compliment of differences.
Q: So why do you call yourself Pinay Travelista?
Me: I don't. The blog is. And it sounded oddly familiar, & different at the same time when I first thought of it. So don't burst my bubble just yet.
Q: You're so formal.
Me: Wait 'til you see my evil side. *Bursts out laughing*
Q: You're evil.
Me: I know.
Q: And really honest about that.
Me: Most good people are.
Q: You're definitely a crazy one.
Me: Don't start. You know there's no end to this if you do.
Q: I like talking to you.
Me: I like talking to me too.

So this is where I get to write about what I love to do --- see places, and tell my stories! I hope you will like this blog enough to want to visit it again, and again, and again, and to infinity. Or until my words runs out that is.
