Antipolo | Art Appreciation at Pinto Art Museum
You need not go very far from Metro Manila to spend an afternoon immersed in art, and nature at the same time. Pinto Art Museum showcases the best Philippiine contemporary art just east of Metro Manila. It took us 40-50 mins to get to Pinto Art Museum, and we got to spend the whole afternoon whilst appreciating art, hanging out in the gardens, and taking some time in deep conversation with good food at the cafe and restaurant.
Baguio City | Popular City of Pines
One the popular weekend destination near Metro Manila is Baguio City. When it gets too hot in the Metro, city dwellers flock the City of Pines for a cool weekend getaway. Not only will you find great accommodations for your family to leisure it, you will also find activities for everyone. The parks and open spaces, good food, and art places with great views are the top reason why people are heading to Baguio City.
Bataan | Travel In Time at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar

I have always wanted to visit Lasa Casas Filipinas de Acuzar see the collection of old Filipino houses. Tagaytay is one of the top weekend getaways near Metro Manila. Its relaxing and scenic view of the Taal Volcano is good way to chill the weekend away. There are a lot of great restaurants, scenic spots to chill at, and if you’re into adventure, you might give hiking at Taal Volcano a try.
Baler | Braving The Waves To Surf
If you’re a child of the sea and prefers the beach, Baler would be the best spot for you. Five hours outside Metro Manila, Baler is known as the birthplace of surfing in the Philippines, you can hit the waves and learn how to surf for the weekend. You can also go on a historical walking tour, climb up the Ermita Hill or trek to see Ditumabo Mother Falls in between your surfing lessons, and chilling at the beach.
